Rescue me-UK release

“Rescue me” is Madonna’s 31th single and 26th released in the United States. It’s the second and final single released from her greatest hits compilation “The Immaculate Collection” in 1991. This single had a respectable run at the Billboard Hot 100, becoming the 22th Top 10 single for Madonna, but it could have done much better. Radio embraced this song right away, entering the Hot 100 Airplay chart almost simultaneously with “Justify my love” and peaking at number 6, even though a physical single was not planned at this early stage. When the physical single was released much later,  it managed to chart only one week at the Top 10. Still at the time it became the highest entry for Madonna on the Hot 100 chart, entering at number 15, due to the already strong airplay. Sadly no music video was shot and Madonna has never performed it live
