“Hanky panky” is Madonna’s 29th single and 24th released in the United States. Issued as the second and final single from “I’m Breathless”, as promotion for this album enden when Madonna’s label decided to release her first greatest hits package, “The Immaculate Collection” in time for Christmas. And as much as l love that collection, I believe that record had a few legs more to strecht, but we’ll never know. “Hanky panky” was a small hit for Madonna (at least by her standards at the time) and still with no video filmed it became her 20th Top 10 Single on the Billboard Hot 100. The live performance from The Blond Ambition Tour was used instead to promote it. Surprisingly, Madonna gave a second twist to this song on the setlist for the Reinvention Tour in 2004.
